I’m curious as to what is the point of widening Shea Blvd. to three lanes from Beeline to Technology Drive?
I live in Eagle Mountain and drive this every day, and I cannot fathom why this is necessary as the traffic load does not appear to warrant such.
This just seems to be more corporate welfare -- spend the grant money and taxes because we can. Has anybody stopped to consider that this may actually cause more issues than any alleged issues it may resolve when the three new west-bound lanes funnel into the existing two lanes past Technology Blvd.?

I’m all for repaving the existing infrastructure, but adding new lanes just seems superfluous.
