Children and adults alike have a unique opportunity to get up close to live raptors and reptiles on the patio at the River of Time Museum next Sunday, March 20, between 1-4 p.m.
Which animals will they be? Perhaps a Golden Eagle or an owl? Perhaps a desert tortoise or a snake or tarantula? You’ll have to come to find out.
Volunteers from Liberty Wildlife and Ranger Amy from McDowell Mountain Park will be bringing the animals so children and adults can ask questions and learn about these interesting creatures that live in the Sonoran Desert with us.

In the museum is a special exhibit featuring fourth graders’ posters and models about these animals, which are the result of a study project they recently completed. Many interesting facts are on display.
Please bring your children next Sunday afternoon so they can enjoy this unique opportunity.
