Wilhelm “Bill” Kutsch, 73, passed away peacefully in hospice on Nov. 24, 2016, after a brief illness.
Bill is survived by his wife, Joan; beloved daughter, Melissa Kutsch; son-in-law, Darren Kapsimalis; two stepchildren, Jessica Reeder, Aaron LeGrand, and four step-granddaughters.
Bill was born in Duisburg, Germany on Feb. 9, 1943. After surviving the war by fleeing with his mother to Austria, the family returned to Germany to run the family butcher shop for most of his younger years.
At age 20, the family immigrated to the U.S. where Bill attended NYU and received a degree in chemistry and physics. He spent the majority of his career running two small manufacturing firms in New England as the chief chemist and vice president.
Following retirement Bill and his wife moved to Fountain Hills where he spent many happy hours visiting with his friends at Mike’s Sports Grill and Arrivederci.
There will be no memorial service per his request but he did ask that his friends send a shout out on his behalf whenever his favorite teams, the NE Patriots and Bayern Munchen score points or goals.
