William C. McCormack

William Cameron McCormack (Bill) passed away June 10, 2016 after many years of ill health.

Bill was born in Torrance, Calif. and was raised in Phoenix by his parents, John and Kathleen McCormack. Bill went to High School at Cortez in Glendale before attending ASU where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degrees.

Bill was a great outdoorsman throughout his childhood before joining the Marines where his service was cut short through a severe accident that left him disabled for the remainder of his life.

Bill continued with his outdoor pursuits by living in Durango, Colo., Northern Arizona, and Prescott where he lived with Rose, his wife of 25 years. Bill had had two sons, Eric and Jason.

Bill will always be remembered by his constant grin and his love of telling stories, which he never lacked.

He is survived by his son, Jason McCormack; brothers, Michael McCormack and John McCormack; and his many nieces and nephews.
