William Gohl

William “Bill” Gohl of Fountain Hills, 73, passed away on Nov. 26, 2013. Bill was born Feb. 21, 1940, raised in Philadelphia, the only child of German and Irish parents.

He graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia and was a buyer and purchasing agent of raw materials.

He met Elsie when she came to Philadelphia under the Exchange Visitor Nurse Program in 1967. They were married in Bacolod City in the Philippines on Nov. 4, 1970 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. They had recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary.

They moved to Fountain Hills in 1995 to enjoy the weather. They have one son, Christopher.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie; son, Christopher; handsome, intelligent and very loving grand dog, Rif; his sisters- in-law and brothers-in- law, Jan Bauden, Jim Reodica, Daisy Reodica, Cristina Reodica Minor, Louie Reodica, Dr. Jimmilly Aguiling, Beth Reodica, Dr. Neds Reodica, Bill Minor, Dr. Monet Aguiling; nieces, Abby and Cera Aguiling, and nephews. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

A memorial mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, at our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 7655 E. Main St., Scottsdale. There will be a Holy Rosary at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Devine Mercy Chapel.
