The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a particulate pollution health watch for Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The PM 10 health watch is the notice that triggers the “no burn” days restricting wood burning fireplaces and fire pits.

Also, avoid any activity that generates dust including use of “leaf blowers” for landscape clean-up.

Windy forecast triggers dust watch

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a particulate pollution health watch for Wednesday, Oct. 9.

The PM 10 health watch is the notice that triggers the “no burn” days restricting wood burning fireplaces and fire pits.

Also, avoid any activity that generates dust including use of “leaf blowers” for landscape clean-up.

The National Weather Service Forecast calls for a cold front moving through Arizona that may be accompanied by winds gusting in excess of 30 miles per hour in Fountain Hills on Wednesday.

The high temperature for Thursday is forecast at 69 for Fountain Hills.
