The National Weather Service forecast is calling for the storm to move out by Tuesday, but leave behind some chilly temperatures. The high for Tuesday in Fountain Hills is to be just 50 degrees.

Winter weather moves into Arizona

The winter storm that swept across Arizona overnight and into Monday brought about a quarter inch of rain to the various Flood Control District monitoring sites around town.
The site along McDowell Mountain Road just north of town received the most with .35-inch.
The National Weather Service forecast is calling for the storm to move out by Tuesday, but leave behind some chilly temperatures. The high for Tuesday in Fountain Hills is to be just 50 degrees.
Overnight lows are forecast at about 40 degrees.
It is snowing in the high country above 4,000 feet.
High temperatures are expected to climb back to the mid-60s by the end of the week.
