The storm system moving through Arizona from the Pacific is bringing a chance of rain late Friday and a slight chance into early Saturday.
The big news from the weather system, however, will be the colder temperatures. Early next week daytime high temperatures will be as much as 20 degrees cooler than they were a week ago.
With highs forecast in the 50s Saturday through Tuesday there is a good chance with clearing skies that overnight lows could dip to freezing or below. People should take appropriate precautions with plants, pipes and pets to protect against the cold nights.
