With love

Why would God have to hate those who transgress His commandments or laws? As so many today incorrectly think, you can see their placards on TV. Afterall, God created, and creation is His act of love. Other reasons He created us: So that we can overcome, to endure, also to conquer ourselves, to learn and become more perfect; become more worthy of being sons and daughters of God.

Who hates the sinner? Only the ignorant, practically no one of any erudition. Most hate the sin – that is human.

A righteous human judge need not hate to find guilty a transgressor before the bench. Likewise and certainly, God does not need to hate to “bang down” His gavel in pronouncement, His infallible righteous pronouncement. Hate is human emotion. Hate does not exist in God’s lexicon.

Certain words are antiquated, old and not of the New Covenant. Be careful to correctly appropriate to yourselves the New Covenant as reported (Luke 22: 19, 20).

Certainly there is law. Certainly there is sin, if one allows it in one’s self. Know that sin is transgression of the law. But by Christ Jesus’ death on the cross He has purchased our freedom from sin, so continue to live without sin and without fear.

But for those perishing, for those who will not inherit, also those admitting to their own sin, it is important to repent, so as to become new, reborn and fully redeemed. One’s choice to repent is a way to collapse “the wave equation” to one’s benefit, a convergence to God. And a divergence away from Satan, both done “with love” (Gal. 6: 7, 8).

Faith in God the Father, in His Son Christ Jesus and in the Holy Spirit is necessary and sufficient (John 17: All).
