Woman dies of natural causes at Bashas’ Center

Rumors were rampant today as the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office investigated the death of a woman found in her vehicle this morning.

Sheriff’s Captain Joe Rodriquez said the woman’s husband reported her missing last night around 10pm. The vehicle was found by deputies sometime around 1am on the north side of the center. Although a homicide investigation team was sent out, MCSO determined the woman died of natural causes and nothing suspicious was found at the scene.

The incident created many rumors due to many law enforcement vehicles and police tape along Palisades Blvd. throughout the morning. No other information was available at this time.
