Women's Club honors 2017 scholarship recipients

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club honored its scholarship recipients at a luncheon Wednesday, May 17.

The event was held at FireRock Country Club.

Recipients are Rachel Hamilton, Mary Turner, Christine O’Neil and Yarely Cardenas. Sarah Domin and Remington Clausen were the high school recipients. Each winner told club members about their career goals.

Women's Club honors 2017 scholarship recipients

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club honored its scholarship recipients at a luncheon Wednesday, May 17.

The event was held at FireRock Country Club.

Recipients are Rachel Hamilton, Mary Turner, Christine O’Neil and Yarely Cardenas. Sarah Domin and Remington Clausen were the high school recipients. Each winner told club members about their career goals.

Rachel Hamilton is the mother of four children. She will attend Scottsdale Community College's STEP program which will allow her to take the board certification test for the Arizona early childhood and elementary education teacher certification.

Mary Turner is the mother of five grown children. She will attend Arizona Medical Training Institute to become a certified-nursing assistant in Arizona and to become a certified caregiver.

Caitlin Mansfield will attend Scottsdale Community College to become a computer information systems technologist.

Christine O’Neil has three children. She will attend Scottsdale Community College pursuing an associate’s degree in recreation management.

Yarely Cardenas is enrolled in Arizona College to become a registered nurse.

Sarah Domin received the academic award, and Remington Clausen was presented with the votech

award.
