The Fountain Hills Women’s Club has plans in full swing for its annual fashion show.

“The Great Gatsby, The Roaring Twenties” fashion show is set for Saturday, March 23.

The committee held its first meeting to make plans to have this event the best one yet. All agreed that Tonto Verde Country Club provides the perfect venue.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at Fountain Fashions or by calling Barbara Muele at 480-818-7134.

The committee will canvas merchants and professional businesses for donations and ads in the program, which will be given to the 160 plus guests.

Since its inception, the club has provided more than $180,000 in scholarships to deserving women who wanted to complete studies in their chosen field.

The motto for this event is “women helping women.”
