Wonderful

All of us who live in Fountain Hills owe a grateful note of thanks to the Chamber of Commerce and especially to Sharon Morgan.

A little over a week ago we had another arts festival well organized by Sharon Morgan, her assistant Paige and the Chamber of Commerce. I was so pleased to see so many folks from across the Valley turn out for a fantastically wonderful weekend at the latest Fountain Festival of Arts and Crafts and especially those who braved the Sunday weather.

It was wonderful in so many ways. Other than Sunday it was wonderful weather; but on all three days we had wonderful people and wonderful food and drink at so many wonderful venues. Wonderful things to view and buy from wonderful vendors. Wonderful volunteers for our town’s wonderful charitable organizations and the wonderful crowd of locals and visitors alike.

I loved the wonderful week and appreciate that so many residents turned out to work long hours in support of their non-profit and charitable organizations and that so many others came to the fair to shop or eat and thus to support the local non-profit organizations and the many vendors that come here.

So thanks to all our residents, but especially to all who participated in Veterans Day events here or elsewhere and to all who volunteered at any of the non-profit or charitable organizations during the fair. Thanks to everyone who spent money at the fair. And a special thanks to Sharon Morgan and her staff and volunteers for organizing and managing such a wonderful event and to the Purple People, without you the vendors would not return.

Now tomorrow, we have another event that puts Fountain Hills on the map. The annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. Hope to see you there.
