Most, if not the majority of businesses in Fountain Hills, seem to take advantage of their customers in the form of higher prices.
For example, car washes, gasoline and restaurants are all more expensive here than just a few miles down the road. I refuse to shop at businesses that do this to their customers.
This letter, however is written to point out a wonderful example of two businesses in Fountain Hills that truly appreciate their customers.

First, consider Kelley’s Auto Repair. Darien runs a first class shop. He is honest, dependable, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and always ready to suggest ways to save his customers money. I highly recommend Kelley’s if you need your car serviced.
Second, I’d like to give John at the local Hertz counter a huge pat on the back. He is very customer focused, friendly and helpful. I won’t use any other car rental agencies unless forced to by circumstances. Kudos to you, John!
I hope other businesses in Fountain Hills will take lessons from the above-mentioned gentlemen. Instead of complaining when people shop out of town...give us a reason to shop local.
