This past year, the Fountain Hills Theater celebrated its 30th anniversary. Jackie and I have been attending productions of the theater for 27 of those years, back when they put on their plays at the McDowell Mountain School. We have both had the honor of serving on the organization’s Board of Directors, an honor we cherish.

We are especially proud of its youth program and the opportunities it offers our young people to develop poise and confidence while developing the skills involved in live theater.

The theater is now in the process of making some significant changes, so that it can look forward to its next 30 years. I am optimistic that we will be able to follow much of those next 30 years and I know that we will continue to enjoy its work.

If you aren’t a regular attendee of these productions, you owe it to yourself to get on board. It is a wonderful way to spend an evening and a worthwhile program to support.
