Having enjoyed the privilege of representing the residents of Fountain Hills on the Town Council, I fully understand the complexities and pressure that comes in serving on a town or city council.

I served under three different mayors during the most turbulent years so far that have impacted Fountain Hills with issues such as a dual law enforcement system, the lack of a fire district, the mountain issue and 16 lawsuits facing us.

Having seen the professionalism, poise and respect of residents and fellow council members by Cecil Yates during his term on the Town Council, I pledge my full support for his candidacy for mayor of Fountain Hills knowing he will continue his full efforts in making our community grow and develop into a town everyone will be proud to live in and, further, to bring a level of excellence to its residents.
