By voting yes on Proposition 126, voters will be protecting all services from the threat of additional taxation.
It’s not about picking winners or losers. There have been many states, including Arizona, that have and are considering a new sales tax on the labor and services we use every day. We need to protect small businesses and working families who are not able, nor equipped, to pay any more in taxes.

Currently, service providers are taxed. Their labor is taxed through the income tax. A new sales tax on services would be double taxation on workers’ labor. By prohibiting a sales tax on services, voters will be stopping double taxation on hard-working Arizonans. Businesses that provide healthcare, childcare, veterinary services, air-conditioning services, plumbing and much more may not be able to stay afloat.
I encourage you to join me in voting yes on Proposition 126, the Protect Arizona Taxpayers Act. Service taxes are regressive, affecting those who don’t have money to spare the most, not to mention a tax on services could hurt the growth of our economy. By voting yes on Proposition 126 you can protect small businesses, working families and those who cannot afford to pay any more taxes.
