Yes Vs. No

As a former student of the Fountain Hills Unified School District, a graduate of FHHS in 1998, and a current business owner in town, I would like to ask the voters in our community to vote “yes” on the FHUSD Budget Override. The impact this vote has on our school district is significant and we all need to consider what a “yes” versus a “no” truly means.

A “yes” vote affords the district the ability to maintain all-day kindergarten, support teacher salary increases, provide professional development, staffing for reading literacy support and much more. Simply put, a “yes” vote paves the way for a higher quality of education for the children in our community.

A “no” vote will result in the loss of over $1 million from the current budget. Such a loss can have a dramatically negative effect on the students, our town and our own property values.

At the end of the day, the ballot language can be tricky and it’s important to know what’s really at stake. We appreciate your “yes” vote for the M&O Budget Override and support for quality education in Fountain Hills!
