In case you haven’t heard – the River of Time is undergoing a major renovation! Why? Because to remain relevant, this museum is focusing on the current issue facing our region and state – the availability of water to sustain our way of life.
Why did people decide to live in this Valley in the first place? Because of an abundance of water – from the Salt and the Verde rivers initially, and then from the Colorado River much later. In fact, without the development of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) bringing this resource to our faucets, Fountain Hills probably would not exist!
By voting for the museum in the ongoing Republic Services Community Grant competition you can make it happen.
