Following intermission, the band honors America’s resilience with Ron Nelson’s Rocky Point Holiday, John Philip Sousa’s Liberty Bell March, and Jerry Bilik’s American Civil War Fantasy, evoking the struggles and triumphs of a defining era. The program continues with Robert Russell Bennett’s Victory at Sea and Stephen Melillo’s America the Brave, culminating in a rousing encore of Sousa’s Stars & Stripes Forever.
