Taylor Morrison has begun construction on a 55-plus age community, Blue Sky at Tonto Verde.
When completed, the subdivision on the southwest corner of Rio Verde Drive and Forest Road will contain 30 home sites for two bedrooms, two bathrooms, single level homes.
The floor plans range from 1,394 square feet to 1,528 square feet. Some home sites will back up to the golf course while others will offer golf course views.
Home prices are expected to debut in the mid $200,000s.
A sales office and models should be open sometime in June.
Blue Sky at Tonto Verde will be an age-qualified community with the requirement that at least one resident must be 55 years of age or older. Some may be younger but no one less than 18 years old can be a permanent resident.
Homeowners will have access to the amenities of adjacent Tonto Verde. They include two 18-hole golf courses, 18-hole putting course, Olympic-size pool, a fitness center and community clubhouse with restaurant.
