DeGeorge Partners’ “Retirements Next Steps” workshop series is set to continue throughout the summer, offering insights and guidance for those planning their retirement.

The series features industry experts who will cover a range of essential topics to help attendees make informed decisions about their future, according to a press release.

Each session will feature knowledgeable speakers who are leaders in their respective fields, ensuring that attendees receive the most current and relevant information.

“We are thrilled to offer this comprehensive workshop series to help individuals navigate the complexities of retirement planning,” said Jill Templeton-Haislip, Realtor and senior real estate specialist of DeGeorge Partners. “Our goal is to provide attendees with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed decisions and enjoy a fulfilling retirement.”

Each workshop is set for 4 p.m. at DeGeorge Partners | Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, 16872 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Suite 103.

June 20: Home Care 101

Kicking off the summer series in June, DeGeorge Partners’ focus will be on home care.

Experts will discuss various home care options, including in-home health services, caregiver support and how to choose the right home care provider.

This session aims to provide attendees with the knowledge needed to ensure a comfortable and supportive living environment during retirement.

July 25: Remodeling with Aging in Place in Mind

In July, the workshop will shift its focus to remodeling homes with aging in place in mind. Specialists in home renovation and design will share tips and strategies for making homes safer and more accessible for seniors.

Topics will include modifications to prevent falls, improve mobility and enhance overall home safety, ensuring that retirees can live independently for as long as possible.

August 22: VA Loans

August’s session will delve into VA loans, providing veterans with information on how to utilize these benefits for their retirement planning.

Experts will explain the eligibility requirements, the application process and the various ways VA loans can be used to secure a comfortable and financially stable retirement.

Also featured in this monthly workshop, Karen DeGeorge, principal of DeGeorge Partners and 23 year Realtor will give her industry insights and expertise.

DeGeorge is a top-performing Realtor in Fountain Hills, Accredited Buyer Representative, Short Sale and Relocation Resource as well as a certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist.

The “Retirement’s Next Steps” workshop series will continue beyond the summer with a full schedule of sessions planned through the fall and winter.
