Edith Stock

November 22, 1933 to July 20, 2026 Edith Stock of Fountain Hills, passed away peacefully on July twentieth at the age of ninety two, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty nine years, Richard. Edith was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming graduating from Natrona County High School. She moved with Richard to California where she earned a BA in mathematics, an MA and a teaching credential while raising a family. She had a long career as a teacher and principal in the Pleasanton California schools. After retiring she and Richard traveled extensively and lived several places in California and Wyoming before settling in Fountain Hills in 2005. Edith was very active in the community serving on the school board, in the Republican Club and in the Stephen Ministry. She is survived by her sons Michael and Matthew, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service is to be scheduled for August at Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, time and date pending.
