As the newest Edward Jones financial advisor in town, Scott A. Holman Jr. says he can determine the most appropriate financial strategy for a client.
He also can assist with retirement savings so more options are available at retirement.
Also, his previous experience with financial institutions and banking institutions gives credence to his advice on personal finance issues as simple as real estate holdings or buying or leasing a car.
He invites the community to learn more about his services at a Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m. tomorrow, March 14, at his office, 12625 N. Saguaro Blvd., suite 101,
Born in Colorado, he grew up in Albuquerque. He has lived in Arizona since 1998.
He received a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Arizona State University (ASU). His career with Edward Jones began in 2017.
Holman is a member of ASU Alumni Association and the Sun Devil Club Young Professionals Group’s board of directors. He is a member of Kiwanis Lite.
He and his wife, Shayna, have two sons, Colton, 2, and Emmett, six months old.
His branch office administrator, Jody Nelson, began her career with Edward Jones in 2016.
“Relationships are key, and in our view, meeting face-to-face builds strong relationships,” Holman said. “We meet when it’s convenient for our clients because we recognize the challenging needs of their businesses and their lives.”
He conducts open coffee club sessions from 8:30 to 10 a.m. every Tuesday at Euro Pizza Café.
Fortune 500 magazine’s May 2018 annual listing of the largest U.S. companies by revenue reported that Edward Jones holds the 376 spot with nearly $7.6 billion in revenue for 2017.
