Final election results: Property tax defeated

The Maricopa County Recorder's Office has posted the final results for the May 15 election, and the ultimate tally isn't too far off from preliminary numbers for Fountain Hills' primary property tax measure.

the final count has 3,459 votes (34 percent) in favor of the measure, with 6,705 votes (66 percent) against. The initial count only included votes cast by May 14, with this final count including ballots that were received or dropped off on Election Day.
