Fountain Hills Fire Department is now equipped with an all-terrain quad vehicle that has been fitted to transport an injured person on a gurney.
Fire Captain Bryan Golden, a certified technical rescue technician and paramedic said Chief Dave Ott reached out to the personnel at Station #2 on Fountain Hills Boulevard near Shea Boulevard and asked what they needed in equipment to do their job better. Golden said he quickly suggested the compact and versatile rescue vehicle. Ott agreed to pursue the purchase and Golden contacted to Polaris to obtain options and bids.
