Each were presented with a DAR certificate of appreciation, commemorative pins and the handmade items.
The DAR Chapter’s meeting in November featured speaker Swaran Singh, who represented the Hohokam Society Children of the American Revolution.
Singh said the Hohokam Society’s state project is to raise funds and provide support for two nonprofits, Soldier’s Best Friend and Hero P.A.W.S.
Four Peaks Chapter will be holding a fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Fountain Hills Community Center, which will include a BBQ buffet, a five-piece jazz band for dancing to hits from the 40’s, USO style, silent auction baskets and an opportunity to raise glasses in a “Toast to Liberty.”
