The Fountain Hills Tea Party will host a special election event Monday, April 15.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 5:15 p.m. in the Fountain Hills Community Center ballroom.
Guests will include Sheriff Mark Lamb, candidate for U.S. Senate and Fountain Hills Councilmember Gerry Friedel, candidate for Fountain Hills Mayor.
Others present will include Fountain Hills council candidates Matt Corrigan, Gayle Earle and Rick Watts.
All interested parties are welcome to attend, listen, ask questions and gain insight about these races.
Admission is free but attendees are requested to bring a few friends or neighbors to hear from the candidates, says Fountain Hills Tea Party spokesperson Rich Rutkowski.
The Fountain Hills Tea Party is a local not-for-profit organization established in 2010 and which continues to provide education about issues of government and governing.
“We promote conservative principles,” Rutkowski said. “We do not officially endorse candidates but provide an opportunity for voters to be better informed.”
