The Fountain Hills Women’s Club (FHWC) is hosting a few upcoming events through the end of the year and invites the community to take part in the festivities.

To celebrate Thanksgiving, FHWC will host its annual Thanksgiving luncheon Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Community Center (13001 N. La Montana Drive). At the gathering, FHWC will donate $1,000 to the Extended Food Bank and asks all who attend to bring non-perishable items for donation. The Food Bank will collect items in the parking lot.

At the luncheon, Fountain Hills Library Manager Marissa Dailey will discuss the many programs available to the club including free tickets to favorite museums.

Anyone interested in learning more about the club are invited to attend the luncheon for an opportunity to meet women interested in supporting local ventures.

The club is also planning a Holiday Tea at the Crowning Glory Tea Room Thursday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the November luncheon.

Last but not least, the FHWC fundraising committee is planning a “Gold in them Hills” Gala to celebrate the club’s 50th anniversary March 9 at We-ko-Pa Casino Resort. The committee will begin reaching out to businesses to support this scholarship fundraiser.
