Frozen crops cancels Fountain Hills Peach Market

Replacement market planned

The annual Fountain Hills Peach Market at the local Tractor Supply Co.,17130 E. Shea Blvd., is not happening this year.

Due to frost destroying orchards in the northern part of Utah, where the market typically gets its bulk supply of peaches, the annual event that sees vendors selling all manner of peach-related food items during the last two Saturdays of August and the four Saturdays of September had to be called off.

“Unfortunately, peaches, pears, apples, apricots and cherries will not be available for the 2026 Utah fruit season,” said Yvonne Turley, also known as the AZ Fruit Lady, in a statement provided to the Times Independent. “As a result, we will not be able to bring any produce down during the 2026 season.”
