For those traveling this Labor Day weekend, gas prices will hit an all-time high for this time of year, AAA Arizona said in a release Friday.
Despite prices in the Valley dropping 7 cents a gallon this week to $4.62 a gallon, the price represents an 85 cent increase over last year’s $$3.77 a gallon.
According to gasbuddy.com, the cheapest gas in Fountain Hills can be found at the Circle K on 9618 N. Saguaro Blvd. or 17125 E. Shea Blvd., both of which are $4.69 per gallon. Trailing behind is the Chevron on 13779 N. Fountain Hills Blvd. at $4.89 per gallon.
