Fountain Hills resident Lesa Hagen is the new funeral director at Messinger Mortuary in Fountain Hills, bringing more than a decade of experience and a deep sense of care to her work in the death-care industry.
Hagen has spent 11 years serving families across the Valley as a funeral director. She graduated from Mesa Community College’s Mortuary Science Program in 2014, becoming licensed in funeral directing, embalming and cremation. Before entering the field, she worked as a private caregiver and a licensed massage therapist.
At Messinger, Hagen works one-on-one with families who have experienced a loss. As a last responder, she describes her role as the “event planner” of the death industry, ensuring every detail is handled with precision and compassion during a family’s final days with their loved one.
