Fountain Hills TOPS Chapter #AZ 9273 will host a special guest speaker, Fran Drodzd, at its meeting on Thursday, Aug. 21, at JOY Church, 13430 N. Saguaro Blvd.
Weigh-ins will be held from 11:30 a.m. to noon, with the meeting running from noon to 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome, and the first meeting is always free.
Drodzd, a KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) member for more than 40 years, has completed over 90 marathons and is currently running her second round of marathons in every U.S. state. A lifelong advocate for health, fitness and social justice, she has also served as a motivational speaker, Peace Corps trainee and community volunteer.

Her story includes global travel as a military wife, extensive volunteer work and a passion for encouraging others to “wake up in the morning with a purpose.”
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) is a nonprofit, member-centered organization dedicated to helping people take off and keep off pounds sensibly for over 75 years — without gimmicks or fad diets. The program emphasizes accountability, friendships and shared support.
