Paul’s Furnishings, a new furniture store of residential and patio furniture, has popped up in the Recycled Home shopping center in the last couple of weeks.
Julie Buchkowski, president of Paul’s ACE Hardware, said her company teamed up with Cathy Cadwallader, owner of Recycled Home, to sell new home furnishings.
The store is located in the northeast corner at La Montana Drive and Palisades Boulevard.
“It’s one more reason that town residents don’t have to drive to Scottsdale,” said Cadwallader.
A town resident for 19 ½ years, Cadwallader said she has a feeling for styles and affordable price points that locals want.
Through her resale Recycled Home store, Cadwallader has learned that many town residents are downsizing to smaller homes or condos and are shopping for smaller-scale pieces.
An Ashley Furniture kiosk within the store allows a prospective customer to look through living room, dining room and bedroom furniture.
Any item can be ordered; delivery is usually within two weeks.
“The store is the perfect complement to the shopping center which offers estate furnishings at Recycled Home, new mattresses at Brooklyn Bedding and home accents at Sonoran Style,” said Buchkowski.
“And once you get your fix shopping, you can enjoy a Chinese buffet at HD Asian Bistro while you are deciding how to design your space,” she added.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. A Facebook page has been created for the business.
