Contrary to what several writers last week wrote, Congressman David Schweikert is doing exactly what I had hoped he would do: work to stop the insane spending. I don't want him to compromise with Democrats who are so out of touch with reality, they can’t realize the long term damage of deficit spending. Before anybody criticizes Congressman Schweikert, they need to attend one of his presentations on the national budget. If you can sit through one of his presentations and not come away thinking we are in financial trouble, you have an exceptional ability to deny reality.

If the Congress does not pass one single new law this year I will be happy. Every time Congress passes a new law, the deficit increases.
