Fountain Hills Library offers free summer activities

Variety of indoor events to enjoy this month

The Fountain Hills Library hosts a variety of events for library patrons throughout the summer to stay cool and learn a new hobby.

The library is hosting a novel writing class for teens and tweens who are fans of Choose Your Own Adventure novels.

The class is set for Thursday, July 11 from 3 to 4 p.m.

For anyone interested in map-making, the library is hosting a map-designing class for those interested in creating their own fantasy or science fiction world maps. Special paper and pens are provided.

The map-making class is Thursday, July 18, from 3 to 4 p.m.

For those wanting to learn a more complex skill, the library is hosting a wire art class where participants can try their hand at twisting, bending and shaping wire into a unique design.

The wire art class is Wednesday, July 24, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

These July events are free, and registration is required.

Participants can register by visiting mcldaz.org or calling 602-652-3000.
