Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation based in Fountain Hills reported that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Dec. 28, to Wednesday, Jan. 3.
Thursday, Dec. 28
*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Eagle Mountain Parkway where a non-injury rear end traffic collision was reported.
Friday, Dec. 29
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Inca Avenue where a non-injury traffic collision was reported.
*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Eagle Mountain Parkway where a non-injury traffic collision was reported.
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of El Pueblo Boulevard where a vehicle collided with a residence causing a large amount of damage to the home. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate the driver. The suspect is outstanding.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at Arista Lane. A driver was stopped for criminal speed, traveling 75 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Vermillion Drive reported that an unknown suspect damaged their property by cutting a string of Christmas lights.
Saturday, Dec. 30
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains for a report that an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle without permission while it was parked at a residence and caused damage. No items were reported missing.
*Deputies arrested a suspect for shoplifting from a retail store in the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard.
*A resident of the 11000 block of Pinto Drive reported a violation of a court order.
Sunday, Dec. 31
*Deputies responded to Shea and Saguaro boulevards where a private property traffic collision was reported.
Tuesday, Jan. 2
*A resident of the 14000 block of Westminster Place reported a domestic violence criminal damage incident. No charges were filed immediately due to lack of evidence.
