Golf team qualifies for state

It was a big week for the local golf squad as the Falcons hit the road to Wickenburg last Friday and Saturday, April 5-6, going on to take third place overall at the Wrangler Invitational.
Performing well individually, Coach Matt Johnson said the Falcons’ performance was also a great showing for the team as a whole.
“The most important accomplishment for the Falcons was that they shot their fifth team state qualifying score,” Johnson added.
“This means that the Falcons will be playing in the state championship on May 10-11.”
