Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Fountain Hills man who told them he was having a “really bad day” following a domestic violence incident at a residence in the 17000 block of Calle Del Sol Thursday, April 4.

When the man became belligerent he was locked out of his house by a woman living there and he allegedly broke a window to get back in.

When deputies arrived the man got into a fight with them and faces resisting arrest as well as criminal damage charges.

The man and his vehicle matched the description of someone involved in two road-rage incidents in the 90 minutes prior to his arrest.

He allegedly was tailgating very close to a Fountain Hills couple as they came up the Beeline Highway from the Valley. He reportedly passed them and blocked the road in front of them forcing them to go in reverse on Shea Boulevard to retreat from him.

Another driver told deputies she drove over the median on Saguaro Boulevard to flee the man after a roadway confrontation.

Sheriff’s deputies report the man may have been intoxicated.

*On Monday, April 1, deputies arrested a man wanted in Wisconsin on a warrant for theft and burglary charges. The man was taken into custody in the 14000 block of Honeysuckle Drive.

*On Monday, April 1, deputies questioned a juvenile male believed seen in the area where a brush fire broke out in Ashbrook Wash. They believe he was just passing through the area.

*On Friday, March 8, a Fountain Hills woman reported someone removed a bracelet valued at $110 from her residence in the 15000 block of Marathon Drive.

*On Tuesday, March 19, deputies investigated a minor private property accident in the 16000 block of Shea Boulevard. A driver backed into a second vehicle in a parking lot.

*On Monday, March 25, a male juvenile, 17, was found to be in possession of marijuana while on campus at Fountain Hills High School. Possession charges have been submitted to the juvenile county attorney’s office.

*On Monday, April 1, a resident of the 15000 block of Sunburst Drive reported someone threw a rock causing damage to their garage door.

*On Tuesday, April 2, at 1:30 a.m. a resident reported a garbage can on fire in front of a residence in the 14000 block of Galatea Drive. The fire department extinguished the blaze, which is considered suspicious in origin.

*On Wednesday, March 13, a woman reported an attempt to defraud her after she received a phone call from someone trying to sell her a computer program to fix her laptop.

*On Tuesday, March 26, deputies received a report that a Fountain Hills High School student, age 18, had posted a possible threat on Facebook.

*On Thursday, April 4, a man was arrested after he was stopped while operating a motor scooter while his license was suspended. He was also arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He told deputies he did not believe he needed a license to operate the scooter.

*On Thursday, March 28, a resident of the 16000 block of Crystal Point Drive reported someone broke into their vehicle parked at their residence. A window was broken out and several electronic items were taken from the vehicle valued at $4,300.

*On Friday, March 22, deputies responded to a report of someone calling for help in the area of Cavedale Road in Maricopa County. They found a woman who reported she was beaten by her ex-husband. She is a Las Vegas resident who was staying in a fifth-wheel trailer on the property of friends. After the fight the suspect fled taking her cell phone and two dogs. The man, a California resident, faces possible charges of assault, attempted kidnapping, burglary and trespassing.

*On Saturday, March 23, deputies received a report that a bicycle valued at $600 was stolen from the 13000 block of Cambria Drive.

*On Friday, March 29, a resident of the 11000 block of Pinto Drive reported several items stolen from their vehicle. A digital camera, cash and a flashlight were among the items taken.

*On Thursday, March 28, a resident of the 14000 block of Lark Court reported two packages left for FedEx pickup were stolen from a courtyard at her residence. Two sets of golf clubs were being shipped.

*On Friday, March 29, a woman reported someone broke into her home in the 16000 block of Carmel Drive. A bottle of liquor was broken on the floor and the woman’s two dogs had been thrown in the swimming pool.

*On Monday, April 1, a woman living in the 15000 block of Westridge Drive reported someone threw a rock at her garage door causing damage.

*On Friday, April 5, deputies investigated a two-vehicle collision on Trevino Drive. A driver heading east on Trevino struck a vehicle pulling from the driveway at the McDonald’s restaurant. The driver pulling onto the street was cited for failure to yield and driving without a driver’s license.

*On Friday, April 5, a resident of Sierra Madre Blvd. reported someone had struck their mailbox and fled the area. Deputies located the vehicle at a nearby residence where the suspect driver’s parents live. He was not immediately located.
