Proctor: Responding to Linda Somo’s comments on signs

In a quick response to Linda Somo’s observations on the proliferation of campaign signs, most will agree that they seem to be everywhere. As a recent Midwest transplant, I’m both amused and perplexed by how many and where they’re located. 

However, Ms. Somo’s critique of one candidate and support for another is likely more telling than any concern over the proliferation of campaign signs. Apparently, some campaign signs are more worthy than others. And to conclude with Ms. Somo’s Shakespearian theme, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”
