“The Revelation” is the next upcoming sermon series at Christ’s Church.

Long-time Pastor Don Lawrence will begin this series Sunday, Oct. 19.

Lawrence stated, “That last book of the Bible has inspired many movies, hundreds of books and thousands of magazine articles.

“Filled with visions, images, symbolisms and prophecies, it has led to wild speculations and a myriad of sensationalistic interpretations offered by wild-eyed fanatics. Lost in all the hype is the yearning of so many who simply want to know what it says.”

Lawrence said that the series will be a chapter by chapter study, void of preconceived conclusions.

“We’ll let it speak for itself,” Lawrence said, “since it is certainly filled with an abundance of fascinating information.”

Lawrence has written a study journal that will accompany the series. The journal can be used for daily devotions as well as for family devotions or small group study. The journals are free to all who are in attendance during the series.
