Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Riverbanks Shop at the River of Time Museum & Exploration Center will hold a storewide 15% sale discount on all purchases.

The sale is Wednesday, Feb. 14.

Featured is a brand new collection of turquoise jewelry from Horse Spirit Studio.

This indigenous-owned company donates a percentage of each purchase to Southwest Indigenous Women’s Coalition (SWIWC.org) to assist and educate Native American women victims of domestic violence and abuse.

All of their handmade jewelry is blessed in ceremony before shipping, a press release said.

“Finding something for that special someone is easy with a selection of Native American pottery, necklaces, earrings and bracelets made with silver and/or copper,” the release added.

Also available are fabric purses, pouches and potholders. The selection of adult and children’s educational and engaging books has expanded as has the selection of children’s gifts including stuffed animals, colorful crayon rocks with stencils and kid-sized binoculars.

Home décor items include candles and soaps, greeting cards and cactus jellies.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Riverbanks Shop does not charge sales tax.

The River of Time is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 480-837-2612, send an email to admin@rotmuseum.org or visit riveroftime.center.
