Children’s Entrepreneur Market returns to Fountain Hills

Visit the Farmers Market on Nov. 22

The Fountain Hills Farmers Market is set to host the second of three Children’s Entrepreneur Markets.

Nearly 60 booths of children, ages 5-16, will sell just about anything Wednesday, Nov. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

From handmade food or art, hobby, store-bought items, games or services, “kidpreneurs” are tasked with doing all the pitching, selling and conversing with visitors at the market.

Their parents are welcome to help set up but are “strongly encouraged” to stand back and let the children deliver the pitch and close the sale, according to a press release, adding that this non-profit organization is helping kids learn business with first-hand experience.

The community is invited to a day of shopping as young entrepreneurs, 10 of which are local families who have kids participating in the market, showcase their creations.

Other Farmers Market vendors and food trucks will be onsite at both ends of the Avenue of the Fountains.

The Children’s Entrepreneur Market tent will be set up to answer all questions about how others may participate in future markets in the Valley. The next Children’s Entrepreneur Market is planned for March 13, 2024.
