The Fountain Hills Elks Lodge held its 18th annual Golf Charity Expo Saturday, May 4.

The Fountain Hills Elks Lodge held its 18th annual Golf Event to raise funds for Fountain Hills High School Seniors scholarships, the local Extended Hands Food Bank, veterans and the local community Saturday, May 4, raising a total of $15,000.
A total of 124 golfers participated in the fun and games at the Desert Canyon Golf Course, according to a press release. The winners of the three divisions were as follows:
Mixed division winners include Shelley and Kevin Aaker and Renee and Dave Dormanen.
Ladies division winners include Deb Wells, Shelly Dinges, Megan Watkins and Jacie Arredondo.
Men’s division winners include Ken Adams, Phil Wright, Kris Rosser and Josh Collmenter.
There was a special Ethics Award (highest score) given to Lori Lewis, Deb Familiagetti, Allison Moyer and Sarah McCarty.
The Elks Lodge said it is grateful to Desert Canyon Golf Club, hole sponsors, prize donors and the many volunteers for making the day so successful.
After play was completed, all were invited back to the Lodge for lunch where prizes were awarded to the winners of the divisions and for longest drives (Phil Wright and Charle Dwelle) and several closest-to-the-pin awards.
The were also raffle prizes, a 50/50 cash payout and a silent auction.
