Fox: I will be voting for Dickey, McMahon and Corey

Support Ginny Russo Dickey for mayor and Peggy McMahon and Clayton Corey for Town Council.

I've had the privilege of living in Fountain Hills for 27 years. Since Mayor Dickey was elected in 2018, I've watched how, under her leadership, we've seen improvements to our roads and infrastructure.

From the traffic circle that keeps traffic flowing downtown to the beautifully upgraded median with picnic tables, shade, fountains and artwork, the downtown area has become a lovely destination for fairs, musical events and markets. The new upgrades to Centennial Circle have enhanced it as a venue for more events. And the groundbreaking of the new IDSDC promises more revenue and tourism, along with the international prestige of being a Dark Sky Community.

Remember when you had to go to Scottsdale to find an emergency room? Now we have HonorHealth and Fountain Hills Medical Center. Remember when there was only one restroom in the park? Now we have three.

Splash Park, skate park, sidewalks, Fount Rushmore, the new pump house ... under Mayor Ginny's leadership, everywhere you look this town keeps getting better, the amenities keep improving. Mayor Ginny Dickey continues her town- and family-focused leadership, improving life and creating opportunities in Fountain Hills for all of us.

When it comes to character, we have in Mayor Ginny and Councilwoman Peggy McMahon two people of integrity, focus and competence whose overriding intentions are to keep us safe, bring in more businesses and build a better community for us all. Clayton Cory would be a good addition to the team, bringing a more balanced conversation to our town leadership.

I will be voting to keep the steady leadership of Ginny Dickey and Peggy McMahon, and to add Clayton Corey to the council.
