The Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery recently announced four workshops in October to benefit the Dark Sky Discovery Center in conjunction with the National Arts and Humanities program offered by the Town of Fountain Hills.
There are four workshops held every Monday in October beginning with “Acrylic Abstract” by Sandy Gatlin on Oct. 7, followed by “Gourd Art” by Margaret Sullivan on Oct. 14.
An Acrylic Workshop by Kelly Bowman will be held Monday, Oct. 21, and finally, a Multi-Media Workshop will be held by Gloria Sanchez Oct. 28.
In each workshop, students will each create two miniature 4”x 4” canvas paintings.
Students will keep one painting and the other will be sold at the gallery with all monies being donated to the International Dark Sky Center.
Workshop hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and cost $69 each.
The first three students to register for each class and mention “National Arts and Humanities Month” will get a 50% discount off their workshop fee.
Students must register and pay at the Fountain Hills Artist Gallery, and there are no refunds two weeks prior to class.
