Ranger Amy leaving county park

Amy Burnett announced she is leaving McDowell Mountain Regional Park as its interpretative ranger. She is taking a new position in education with Arizona Game and Fish. The regional park, sandwiched between Fountain Hills and Rio Verde, is owned and managed by Maricopa County. She further announced that all summer programs for the county park have been cancelled except for Friday fitness hikes and the mountain bike night ride series until a new ranger is hired.
