Rio Verde Community Association annual meeting set

The 2024 annual meeting of the Rio Verde Community Association is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, Mar. 26, in the Community Church Sanctuary.
All residents are encouraged to attend. The annual meeting agenda will include election of board members, remarks by the RVCA President Mark Ohlendorf plus Treasurer Trish Ugorowski’s financial report and review of the 2023 audit.
The slate of five candidates to be elected to the Board of Directors include Bobbie Craven, George McCone, Stephen McGuire, Drewellen Renschler and Tom Stegmann.
Vision 2035 Co-Chairs Barbara Baker and John Cole will provide a preview of their afternoon Community Presentation.
Annual meeting guest speaker will be Geologist Mike Nolan whose topic is “If Rocks Could Talk: Secrets of the Landscape.” Nolan will provide insights into how the rocks and landscape around Rio Verde came to be.
