RWOTH celebrates four years in Fountain Hills

To host city, state and county election candidates July 11

The Republican Women of the Hills turns four years old in July.

To celebrate the club’s birthday and Independence Day, RWOTH encourages all attendees to wear red, white and blue at the upcoming meeting set Thursday, July 11, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the VFW Post 7507, 9624 N. Monterey Drive, Suite 1.

Featured speakers for July will include Jan Dubauskas, candidate for Scottsdale City Council; Gina Godbehere, candidate for Maricopa County Attorney; Kim George, candidate for Arizona State Representative District 1; and Don Hiatt, candidate for Maricopa County Recorder.

RWOTH meets the second Thursday of each month and attendees should make note that the club has returned to its previous meeting location at the VFW Post 7507.

Both men and women are welcome to become members of RWOTH. Membership is $25 a year, from July 1 to June 30.

Members who have not already done so should bring a check or cash for their yearly renewal. Guests are welcome to attend with a $5 donation.

There will also be a special treat provided prior to the start of the July 11 meeting.
