Four Peaks Rotary will host SRP Head of Security Jay Spradling to discuss what to do in an active shooter situation.

Four Peaks Rotary Club in Fountain Hills is planning a presentation on what to do in an active shooter situation at 7 a.m. Thursday, May 23 at the Community Center.
The presenter is Jay Spradling, head of security at Salt River Project (SRP). Spradling is responsible for the physical security at numerous facilities and SRP substations throughout Arizona.
Spradling spent 30 years in law enforcement and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
During this event, the community will learn how to be prepared to avoid being injured and how to improve survivability in an active shooter situation, according to a press release.
Attendees will also learn what is going on with active shooter incidents in the U.S.
The presentation is Thursday, May 23, at 7 a.m. and attendees are invited to arrive early at 6:45 a.m. This event is free and open to the community. All are invited to attend.
The presentation is held at the Fountain Hills Community Center Ballrooms, 13001 N. La Montana Drive.
